We are five students of English and this is our first publication about our favourite animals
I´m Lucia De la Pinta and I'am going to talk about FISHES.
Fish are aquatic vertebrate
animals, usually ectotherms, most of them covered with scales, and equipped
with fins, enabling its continuous motion in aquatic media, and gills, which
capture the oxygen dissolved in the water.
Fish are abundant in saltwater and
freshwater, being able to find species from the mountain (for example gudgeon)
streams, as well as in the depths of the Ocean (for example eels who swallow).
The ancestors more primitive fish appeared in
the early Cambrian, had a cylindrical body, with a simple digestive system and
a nerve cord that traveled through his body (notochord). All the animals that
evolved from these, receive the name of chordates.
Between the end of the Cambrian and
Ordovician fossils have been identified more primitive true characteristics of
fish: the emergence of vertebrae and the separation of the skull (the most
primitive characteristics of vertebrates).
Man has always had a
close relationship with the sea and its fish and fauna of the rivers. From it
we get food for us and our animals, fertilizers, rubber and, formerly, cod
liver oil was also an important source of income. But not only we can benefit
from them once dead.
I 'm Ramon and I'm going to talk about Turtles
Turtles are reptiles of the order Chelonii or testudines characterised by a special bony or cartilaginous shell developed from their ribs and acting as a shield "turtle" may either refer to the order as whole.
The order Chelonii or Testudies includes both extant (living) and extinct species. The earliest known turtles date from 220 million years ago,making turtles one of the oldest reptile groups and a more ancient group than lizards, snakes or crocodiles. Of the many species alive today, some are highly endangered.
Like all other extant reptiles, turtles are ectotherms, their internal temperature varies according to the ambient envieronment, commonly called cold-blooded. However, because of their high metabolic rate, leatherback sea turtles have a body temperature that is noticeably higher than that of the surrounding water.
Like reptiles dinosaurs, birds, and mammals they breathe air and do not lay eggs underwater, although many species live in or around water. The largest turtles are aquatic.
I'm Marc and I'm going to talk about cats
The cat is my favourite animal.
The cat has got a head, two eyes, two ears, two shoulders, a nose, whiskers, small teeth, long tail and short legs.
The cat has black and white fur.
It eats dried dog food.
It can run and walk.
It's a mammal.
My cat is called "Orange".

There are 180 types of horses.
Careto is a type of face.
Some horses have very long hair.

I'm Andrea and I'm going to talk about huskies
The husky is a hadworking dog.
This breed has strong resemblance to a wolf.
Huskies are energetic,and they are very resilient, their antecestors come from the cold and harsh Siberia.
